If you plan to scale out into other markets then it is important to build a product that will enable you to do that. The idea is that the customers who purchase your product initially, will continue to buy your subsequent products. Because you have already established that you can be trusted by providing a product that works for your customers all you need to do now is gain their business when your new product hits the online marketplace. And whatever the tree, we have to know that a seed is pretty much the only thing that matters. Your first product should be like that seed.

You get that this is all about planting the seeds of an Internet marketing kingdom—an online empire of products that all take root from that one small seed of something that goes in the fertile ground of those who are hungry for your specific product. I am going to mention one example to clearly explain you, I am wrapping several onlline video packages which help you to learn the rids required to speak English. I specialize in ESL(English as a second language), teaching adult learners luckily for more than 10 years. My target market would be adult foreigners who want to learn English through video. I am aware however that if I want to diversify my offerings and sell different but related products down the road I will need to choose a product that these learners will also be interested in. Now, marketing is a numbers game and age-long marketing techniques teaches us that: The MORE number of people you have on your marketing list the MORE chances that you are gonna survive and dominate.

So, think carefully, before you plant your online marketing seed. You can plant something that you are going to grow into something big. In the jungle, you see an amazing variety of trees. That”s what you want your seed to become. Your Internet jungle trees will consist of all the names on your email list who are interested in your first and subsequent products. You also want the product you build to resonate with as many people as you can. There are plenty who might not be interested in esl and might be interested in cooking and vice versa. Use the cooking bait to fish in the esl sea; use the esl bait to fish in the cooking sea. Your harvest of personal freedom will come when your Internet marketing seed is sown. This means that you can use your free time to do what actually matters. We need dreams, big dreams, and when we have the power to stand there and gaze upon those dreams as they become a reality, it is very inspiring showing us all that this Internet marketing stuff is real. You prove that not a soul in your world of obstinates can contest your results unless they want to box with the truth of your success.
